Take the problem from your own work first, then learn only what you need to build that one thing. On running it from India and selling globally, that's normal now. The friction is payments and support hours, not whether people take you seriously. I'm in Romania and it has never once come up. I would say don't go fully solo though. I thought I could learn everything myself and it cost me a lot of time.
