When I came to the mailing part I saw what mailing actually is... and opted for Resend.

Hi! When I came to the mailing part I saw what mailing actually is (all the "things that happen around it" you mention and especially not ending with my domain being blacklisted) and opted for Resend. I could have done it myself , but it's time I didn't want to spend on mailing. Resend's free tier allows to use it before launching/while user acquisition is slow. Then, the paid tiers are acceptable for the service it gives. I have a similar approach with my database: self-hosted while developping/private beta but managed databases will take away all the maintaince around it and it wil be worth the price.
