commentDamn right. We've made the mistake to build our product on Supabase. We were quickly knee deep in the RLS maze, and the un-debuggable triggers/functions.. Even their storage is outrageously expensive (Egress fees are a killer). We have that on R2 now.. And they seem to be down once a week, which is honestly embarrassing for a series F startup (them not us..) Now we're stuck, we can't move our Auth without forcing a broad password reset, which is so far a big no. A Database is not a backend.
Supabase is a weak choice to build a clean codebase with proper separation of concerns and CI/CD.
